I wish I could choose moments like these to re-live throughout my life as my kids get older. I tend to put a lot of stress on myself to have the “perfect” holiday. Everything didn’t go as I would have planned, but we still had a pretty much perfect evening with the boys. The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful and both kiddos were giggly and so much fun. Chase had a blast walking around the neighborhood with us. He really wanted to be a big boy and walk up to the doors with Cooper. He was just smiling and waving at everyone he passed. Cooper politely said “Trick or Treat” and “thank you” at every house (although he may have pressed the door bell continuously until they answered the door several times… whoops). When we got home, Cooper couldn’t WAIT to pass out candy to people coming to our door. We started running low on candy, and he dug into his own bowl of candy to refill ours to hand out to the neighbors. It’s little moments like those that you kind of feel like a success as a parent… watching your kid do something selfless on their own without being forced! 😉 Here are a few pictures of our Halloween 2012:
