A few days after this mama’s due date, I was really tempted to text her and ask “how are you doing?! Any signs of labor?”
But, I’ve been on the other side of that situation. When I went overdue with 2 of my kids, I started to get really discouraged with each passing day. So, I left mama alone despite my excitement to photograph her birth!
Less than a week after her due date, I got a text saying her water broke! I got all my gear ready to go, ready whenever she asked me to come! Sometimes, despite everyone doing what they’re ‘supposed’ to do… babies surprise you and come faster than expected. This mama was only in active labor for about an hour before her sweet 2nd daughter was born.
