I joked with my husband that if a mom texts me in the middle of the night saying she thinks she’s in (early) labor, I try hard to go to sleep to conserve energy for later…

But, honestly, I always just lay there like ….

So, I never actually went back to sleep. That’s ok, it was totally worth it.

Mom rocked out contractions from 1am until the afternoon when she decided to go into the hospital at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Doula arrived, and mom was handling labor like a champ.

It’s so beautiful to see all support people and family being there for a laboring mama.

Thank you for inviting me into your birth space Kerry and Joe. You guys make such a great team, and it was a joy for me to photograph the birth of your first sweet baby boy!
