Funny story about baby Oliver’s birth.

I was at Lakeside hospital in Oklahoma City photographing a birth, when I got “the call” from Oliver’s dad saying they were at the hospital because mom was in labor.

I said, “Ha! You won’t believe this but I’m already here photographing another birth!”

I had my backup photographers on standby, but thankfully these two babies played nicely and came in order so that I was able to photograph each of their births (they even let me catch a nap in between)!
Mom’s birth didn’t end how she was planning, but she worked so, so hard and had a joyful spirit the whole time. Best of all, they got to meet a beautiful and healthy baby Oliver!

Kellsye & Steven – I look forward to seeing this little guy grow up! You two make a great team, and I know you will be fabulous parents. Thank you so much for asking me to photograph his big day!
