When I was pregnant with baby #2, I wanted to make sure my oldest knew how much I still loved him and that having a new baby would never change that.
The closer I got to delivery with number #2, the more special activities I did with my oldest and we read “big brother” books. I went out of my way to make sure a newborn wouldn’t make him feel any less loved!
I hear a lot of moms say “Well, I didn’t get birth or newborn photography done with my first baby, so I feel bad doing all this big elaborate stuff with the new baby.”
It is so true that once you know better, you do better! And all my newborn photography sessions include siblings <3
