Sharing the news of your pregnancy with your loved ones can be an emotional experience. Kassidy said when she was announcing the news to her mom, “I asked her if she wanted good news and she said yes.”

Kassidy’s mother is deaf and can read lips. “I then mouthed it to her that I was pregnant…She cried!”

 

 

Deciding on a baby name was easy for Kassidy, since she had the name picked out since high school, but her husband needed a bit of convincing. After encountering the sweetest elderly lady with the same name, he was swayed.

Adelaide it was.

 

 

I seriously cannot get over this little girl’s gorgeous head of hair. Major heart eyes!

 

 

The Franks welcomed little Adelaide into their family, and the first thing Kassidy said to her husband was, “She looks like you!”

 

 

 

Becoming parents is always full of challenges and new adjustments, but it’s truly a magical moment when your baby first smiles or laughs. These are the moments Kassidy revels in with her sweet girl.
