I wanted to share with you this little guy’s newborn photo shoot because, as his mama Katie said, baby smiles are just the best. <3 And I’m so honored that you guys trust me to capture all of those little smiles and yawns!

 

Hi baby Philip!

 

 

 

 

I asked Philip’s mama Katie what surprised her most about parenthood, and her answer speaks to my soul:

 

“How little sleep you actually need to function.”

 

Oh mama, how true that is! (It gets better, I promise! Mostly.) But you wouldn’t guess sweet little Philip has any trouble sleeping judging by his peaceful newborn photos. I’m loving this sweet sleep smile! And that stretch!

 

 

 

 

Katie and her husband announced their pregnancy by buying their niece and nephew shirts that said, “Cousins make the best friends.” Two weeks before her due date, Katie gave birth to baby Philip at home. I’m sure the cousins can’t wait to see baby Philip grow!
