Letters to our sons, March 2013 | Oklahoma City, Yukon, Mustang Baby and Child Photographer

My dear sons,
I’ll admit, it’s a lot of work to go play in the snow. It sounds fun in my head, but then I realize… we live in Oklahoma and because we live in Oklahoma we just don’t own the snow gear it requires to go have fun in the snow on a whim. I happened to have a snowsuit for little C, but not much for big C. So we improvised.
You both had a lot of fun playing. Little brother- you loved to walk up and down the sidewalks touching the snow and observing your surroundings. You could barely move in your giant puffy snowsuit. Your faces and expressions were cracking me up.
Big brother, you’re a dreamer like me. You have all these grand ideas of how fun playing in the snow will be… and then reality hits that it’s wet, messy and building a snowman is actually a lot of work! You still had fun throwing snowballs though, even if you were pelted in the face with snow most of the time.
