Birth Photography Oklahoma | Home birth of baby B!
June 25, 2015
Each and every birth I get to photograph is truly an honor and delight. The B family contacted me many months ago about photographing the birth of their second baby. The drive out to their house is about 90 minutes, so I definitely wanted to make sure I left sooner than later! They did a great job letting me know when baby was coming, and we were able to capture some priceless images. Mom was handling contractions so, so well and dad never left her side.
Baby B was coming fast and furious at first. I was so worried I was going to miss the birth! After I got inside and got settled, mom asked dad when he thought baby would be born. He said “before noon.” We all laughed because we were sure she was definitely coming sooner than that!
Well, just like a girl…. she does things how SHE wants to do them 😉
Big brother woke up and headed off to church. I love this image, the last time they’ll be a family of three!
Walking their neighborhood to get baby moving down.
Then, things started to pick up and get more serious. Mom was still rockin her birth!
She is almost here!Meeting big brother for the first time! He wasn’t quite sure what to think 😉 Ok, I think he likes her!
W & L, thank you for allowing me to photograph B’s birth! Your family is so beautiful and I just loved being there.
