From the moment I met Madison and Caleb, I could see what a fabulous team they make. Madison took Birth boot camp classes with Amy and hired Megan, one of our Thrive Mama Collective doulas for her birth. I loved seeing Madison, as a first time mom, take control of her birth and educate herself on all their options (something I wish I had done!).

Madison and Caleb made little signs to decorate their room, and even had a birthday cake for her! They were so excited to see her. Caleb said that several times that day, “I just can’t wait to meet my little girl.”

Tears filled the room when baby Ryland finally made her entrance into the world. I can usually hold it together, until dad cries.. then I always get a little teary too.

Madison and Caleb, congratulations and thank you for asking me to photograph Ryland’s big day. I hope you will cherish these photos forever and show them each year to her on her birthday <3
