“She was exactly what our family needed.”

It turns out picking a baby name is easy…when there’s only one name mom and dad agree on!

Meet baby Mila. Born in the comfort of her mama and daddy’s home, surrounded by close family and an amazing birth team.

Mila was born several years after her big brothers came along. They look a little bit excited to have a sweet baby sister, don’t they? 🙂

“They both begged for a baby sister, and when we found out we were having a girl they were over the moon.”

“It gets real with #3!” Mama says. “We are outnumbered and sometimes that feels overwhelming! In some ways it has been easier having the help of my 2 older boys, but in some ways it’s more difficult having older kids and a baby. The boys are constantly wanting to go to activities and meet up with friends, and that has been challenging trying to meet their social needs while caring for a baby!”

Sibling love is one of my favorite things to document with growing families! It’s oh so sweet to see the love on their faces.

Mama says of her older boys, “They did such a great job being helpful and supportive throughout my entire pregnancy. They were present at the birth and their precious faces were what kept me going when it was difficult. From the moment she was born, they have been the most protective and loving brothers a girl could wish for!”
