“There is our little Eloise” Newborn Photographer Yukon, OK
Sometimes expecting parents have names already picked out and expectations that are felt deep with the heart. That was the case for this precious couple, Melissa and Kyle.
“Kyle and I always knew we would name our baby girl Eloise. I thought we were having a boy, but Kyle knew in his heart it would be a girl. When we found out we were expecting our little angel, we just smiled and said, “There is our little Eloise.””
“When Eloise was born, the nursing staff rushed her over to get cleaned up real quick. Kyle followed Eloise, and he said, “Hello there.” She whipped her head to look at him because she recognized his voice. It was so beautiful.”
When asked how she announced her pregnancy…
“My parents were going to be grandparents for a second time, so I had my nephew give them an eviction notice saying “only grandchild expiring May 2019.” For Kyle’s parents it was their first time to be grandparents. We had a onesie made that said “Hi Lovey” “Baby Liston May 2019” with sunglasses that said, “Hold on to these for me. See ya soon.”

Typically while the babies are growing in the belly, the mom-to-be will experience a variety of cravings. Melissa craved water during her pregnancy. Can’t go wrong with that!
When asked who their precious bundle of joy looked like most, she responded, “Kyle- her dad.”
When it comes to parenthood, it’s truly a unique journey and full of surprises. This is what Melissa thinks about it so far:
“It is amazing to see her learn new things and when she realizes how things connect. Her entire face lights up.”
“Parenthood changes you so quickly. You go from thinking about yourself and your spouse, to going out, and focusing on your work to being wrapped up in your baby’s eating and bathroom schedule.”
