Home birth after Caesarean HBAC VBAC | Oklahoma City Birth Photographer
December 14, 2012
Lela contacted me through the Oklahoma Birth Network, a local organization I’m proud to be a member of. After our initial meeting, I was thrilled to find out she was planning a VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarean) at home.
Lela was nothing short of a rockstar during her labor. When I got there, things were already pretty intense, but mom was completely focused and handling each contraction so well.
The entire labor team was so supportive. It was an wonderful environment to give birth. Dad was rubbing mom’s back, applying counter-pressure and encouraging her every step of the way. The entire experience was one I will never forget!
After hours of pushing (yes, hours), baby N was born into the world!!

You did it!
The tear on dad’s face is so sweet.
Oh my goodness, look at that sweet face!!
And all is right in the world. 🙂
Thank you, Lela & Michael, for allowing me into your home to photograph this amazing experience. You both were amazing and I feel so privileged to have been there for N’s birth.
